Scripture Duck Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 14, 2026
Welcome to Scripture Duck (“Scripture Duck,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a service operated by Tinibo LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Scripture Duck mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of information.
1.1 Account Information
When you create or access an account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Username
- Birth year or similar age eligibility information
- Authentication credentials or authentication provider identifiers
- Subscription status
- Account preferences
We may use birth year or similar age eligibility information to determine whether account-based features are available. We recommend minimizing the amount of age information collected and retaining only what is reasonably necessary.
1.2 Anonymous and Guest Access Information
Some features may be available without creating a registered account. For anonymous or Guest Access users, we may collect or generate:
- Server-generated anonymous user identifiers
- Device-linked or installation-linked identifiers
- System-generated pseudonymous usernames, such as randomized “Player” names
- Gameplay progression and settings
- League, daily challenge, streak, achievement, and reward data
- Subscription or shared-access entitlement information
Anonymous usernames are generated by the Service and are intended to avoid the collection or public display of real names, email addresses, or custom user handles.
1.3 Journaling and User Content
If you use journaling or related features, we may collect and store:
- Journal entries
- Notes
- Reflections
- Verse lists
- Gameplay-related content
- User feedback
Journal entries are intended to be private to the applicable account, anonymous user, or shared-access user. Journal entries are not publicly visible, searchable, or shareable through the Service.
We encourage users not to include highly sensitive personal information, contact information, addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying information in journal entries.

When creating an account, you may optionally choose to receive news, announcements, product updates, or promotional emails from Scripture Duck by selecting an opt-in checkbox.
You may unsubscribe from optional promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.
2. Anonymous and Guest Access
Certain features of the Service may be accessible without creating a registered account (“Guest Access” or “anonymous access”).
Anonymous and Guest Access users may still use server-backed functionality, including progress tracking, leagues, daily challenges, private journaling, rewards, and subscription or shared-access entitlements. To provide these features, Scripture Duck may use persistent identifiers, device-linked identifiers, installation-linked identifiers, or server-generated identifiers.
When using Guest Access or anonymous access:
- Progress and data may be associated with a device, installation, or server-generated identifier
- A system-generated pseudonymous username may be assigned by the Service
- Data may not be recoverable if the app is deleted, local data is cleared, or the device changes
- Journal entries and progression associated only with Guest Access may be permanently lost if related identifiers are removed or invalidated
Tinibo LLC may be unable to recover, restore, or transfer Guest Access data once the relevant local, device-linked, or server-linked identifier has been removed or invalidated.

Scripture Duck is intended for a general audience.
Certain features—including identifiable account creation, account login, marketing communications, and account-linked identity features—are intended only for users who are at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction.
When a user attempts to create or access an account, Scripture Duck may request birth year or similar age eligibility information to determine whether account-based features are available.
Users who indicate they are under 13 may continue using certain gameplay features through anonymous or Guest Access functionality. Such users may participate in gameplay systems, leagues, daily challenges, and rewards using system-generated pseudonymous usernames.
Anonymous and Guest Access users may use private journaling features tied to their anonymous or shared-access identity. Journal entries are intended to be private and are not publicly visible, searchable, or shareable through the Service.
For users utilizing anonymous or Guest Access functionality, Scripture Duck may use persistent identifiers, device-linked identifiers, installation-linked identifiers, or server-generated identifiers solely to:
- Maintain gameplay progression
- Support subscriptions and shared-access entitlements
- Synchronize gameplay state
- Support leagues, daily challenges, rewards, and gameplay systems
- Provide private journaling features
- Prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse
- Support internal operations of the Service
Tinibo LLC does not knowingly collect identifiable account information, such as email addresses, from users under 13 without appropriate consent.
Tinibo LLC does not knowingly use personal information or persistent identifiers collected from children under 13 for behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or building user profiles unrelated to the internal operations of the Service.
If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us using the information below.
7. Journaling Privacy
Journal entries are intended to be private to the account holder, anonymous user, or shared-access user and are not publicly visible, searchable, or shareable through the Service.
Only the applicable user should be able to read and edit their journal entries through normal Service functionality.
However:
- No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure
- Guest Access journal entries may be permanently lost if the app is deleted, local data is cleared, the device changes, or related identifiers are removed
- Authorized personnel or service providers may access stored data where reasonably necessary for support, maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operation of the Service
We encourage users not to store highly sensitive personal information, contact information, addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying information in journal entries.

- Provide the Service
- Maintain accounts, subscriptions, and shared-access entitlements
- Preserve gameplay progression
- Provide private journaling features
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Prevent fraud and abuse
Tinibo LLC may delete unlinked Guest Access data associated with anonymous or inactive devices after twelve (12) consecutive months of inactivity.
Backups and archived copies may persist temporarily after deletion.
9. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their registered account and associated cloud data.
Anonymous or Guest Access data may be harder to identify, recover, transfer, or delete if it is not linked to a registered account.
Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:
- Legal compliance
- Security and fraud prevention
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing agreements
- Backup integrity
- Platform transaction records
Deleting the app from your device does not necessarily delete registered account data.
